Within Profit the Notion Appearance is to be used as "the Form in which an Item appears if it is (should be) actually present".

If Appearance is mentioned, always the following is meant:

¬

An Item in a certain Appearance Form

and with a for that moment applicable

Actual Contents

Examples: - Liquid X in a 10 Litre Can with a Contents of 8

- Bar Y, originally 6 Metre, now only 4

- Screw Z, in box of 100 Pieces, Contents now 70

Note the difference with an Item/Appearance which only concerns a Definition of the formally occurring Standard Appearance Forms for an Item!

(the Actual Contents then equals the Standard Contents of the Appearance Form).

The Notion "Item/Appearance with Actual Contents" equals an "Appearance of the Item" !
